These golden pan-fried potato layers are crispy on the outside and soft, rich, and comforting inside. This dish is pure cozy comfort food: grated potatoes mixed with red onions, mushrooms, spices, and a little cornstarch, pan-fried until perfectly golden. Then we stack the layers with a creamy cheese-and-green-onion spread, add tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and plenty of mozzarella. Cheese Filling: • Mix shredded cheese, chopped green onion, mayo and pepper. Assembly: • Spread cheesy filling over the first potato layer. • Add the second layer and repeat the filling. • Add tomato slices, Italian seasoning and mozzarella. • Cover with the final layer and sprinkle with cheese. • Bake for 20–25 minutes at 350°F. 🥗 Side Dish Serve with a simple green salad or fresh veggies. ✨ Dinner is ready — warm, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying!
