How social circus change my life? | Galina Ryom-Røjbek | TEDxSofia

A world unicycle champion, Danish citizen, born in Bulgaria, is sharing her passion for unicycling and social circus in favor of those in need. Through social circus Galina is aiming to build bridges and break down barriers between people and groups, using circus as a physical and pedagogical tool to bring people together. A world champion medalist with more than 20 years’ experience as a Unicycle athlete and Circus Artist. She graduated at the contemporary circus school in Copenhagen, Denmark AFUK (the Academy for Untamed Creativity) in 2013. Galina was born in Bulgaria, raised in Denmark. She is currently living in Sofia the Capital city of Bulgaria. An outstanding person, with great initiatives and a strong desire to improve through learning, have led to a successful move to present high-level performances with her unicycle, modern circus art, and social circus activities.
