At the end of the 15th century, the current choir was added to a smaller, already existing church, and immediately afterwards the nave was also renovated. The former tower was incorporated into the new building. In 1552, the tower was raised for the first time and completed with a chasuble. In 1898, the tower was taken down to below the belfry and rebuilt with the pointed spire and neo-Gothic belfry that still exist today. The bells had been renewed 1 year earlier. It should be noted that a sound analysis I carried out (a' = 435 Hz) showed that the peal is not only a strongly deepened b° major, but is even a b° major to the point. This was also shown by various comparisons with other bells. The bells weigh 3,300kg, 1,625kg, 950kg, 700kg and 400kg from large to small, which further supports this fact, as this corresponds to the heavy rib frequently used by Rüetschi. Ringing data: Disposition: b° d' f' g' b' Year cast: 1897 by Rüetschi Many thanks to the friendly sigrist for opening the tower.
