Diessenhofen (CH - SH) Bells of the ref. church St. Dionysius
The first church is mentioned as early as 757. In the 13th century, a Romanesque church was built, which roughly corresponded to the floor plan of today's church. The church burned down in 1363 and was then rebuilt in the Gothic style. The church was used equally by both denominations from 1543 until 1963. In 1838/39, a pointed barrel vault was installed to replace the flat wooden ceiling. This was replaced by the previous wooden ceiling in 1969/70. The church was given a new bell in 1883 in a typical B major chord by Jakob Keller.
