Prepare your nails correctly before you get started! Use the cuticle stick provided to gently push back your cuticles. • Cleanse your nails using the lint-free wipes and Gel Cleanser. Do you have normal/dry nails? Apply primer only on the tip and around the edges of your nail. Oily nails? Apply primer as you would nail polish, across the full nail. Leave this to air dry for 30 seconds. • BIGGER TOP TIP: Don’t know if you have oily or dry nails? Your nails usually tend to be the same as your skin type! 8. Make sure you treat your nails with care. They’re jewels, not tools! Be sure to use washing up gloves when washing, and generally be cautious when using your hands. 7. Don’t pick your polish. Water will eventually get under the gel polish, causing it to lift. 1. Discolouration from sun products If you’re using lots of sun tan lotion, be aware that some polishes may lift or discolour, so ensure you wipe your nails clean of the lotion.
