Kha'zix is one of my favorite junglers, he was in a really bad spot after his W only healed for 40 hp (making his first clear a 'must go back to base for smite item') and he'd get abused early and never get going consistently. Now I feel that if you play him well, it's far easier to get going consistently as you can stay on the field longer because of the buff to the healing at level 1 (60 hp instead of 40hp adds up, say you 2 it 5 times, thats 150hp on first clear which is an extra potion!) meaning more flexibility. While he isn't a cinderhulk jungler I think he has his role similar to rengar, if your team has a tank/engage then it's simply a matter of positioning yourself for cleanup or soloing stray champions. Abuse Kha'zix's mobility and invisibility to make more risky plays as the enemy has trouble countering your first strike if you constantly go invisible (if the enemy is smart enough to get pinks/red trinket upg then you play passive) and you'll win trades you shouldn't. If you like playing assassin type jungles, basically Kha'zix jungle and rengar jungle are the only consistent ones as Elise/Zed are far more miss than hit. Evolve E first if you're against really mobile champions or don't expect to face isolated targets (like Leblanc, Morg are good opponents to evolve E first) Normal evolve path: Q-E-W Alternate E-Q-W Only evolve R in situations where the enemy has few hard ccs where you'll get locked down as 6 seconds of invis late game when you're spotted by a pink or red trinket is pretty useless if they have stuns/snares/fears to kill you anyway.
