An arrangement for four clarinets of the beginning of the second movement of Beethoven's Symphony no 7 op. 92. The arrangement is from Serge Duchêne. What I really like about this piece (and what makes it stick to my mind for weeks every time I listen to it!) is this relentless yet absolutely peaceful movement, stronger bar after bar, that nothing seems able to stop... This is part of a small series of pieces I recorded during the forced musical break of the bands I play in due to COVID... A modest and unpretentious contribution to making the world a little better through music :-) As it turns out, it is actually way more difficult for me to play with my clones than with actual, real-life musicians!
