This 55min full body Pilates workout is designed specifically for pregnant women. It entirely avoids certain exercises and body positions not compatible with pregnancy. The class is relevant to all fitness levels and experience and focused on mobility, core strength, joint stabilisation and safety. Please do not attempt this class (or any other) without approval from your medical practitioner. If completely new to Pilates, please consider viewing my 20min "Intro to Pilates New Beginners" video. I explain Pilates concepts, do's and don'ts and manage expectations. When complete, return to this video to follow along the exercises at home. Please be very gentle with yourself. Stop or modify any exercises that are tiring or feel uncomfortable. Remember, the focus during pregnancy is to support your system, to support your baby. This video is not designed to get your heart racing, work up a sweat or metabolise fat. It's a workout for your deep structural muscles and joints, to assist your strength, pain management, aches, sleep and mental state. Enjoy!
