THE BEST CROCKPOT CHILI RECIPE 2 lbs ground beef 1 small onion diced 1 green pepper diced 2 jalapeno diced (seeds removed unless you like a lot of spice) 2 dried red chili pepper 29 oz tomato sauce 3 14.5oz cans chili seasoned diced tomatoes 1 can light red kidney beans 1 can dark red kidney beans 1 can pinto beans (or whatever beans you have on hand. Drain & rinse all beans) 1 6oz can tomato paste 4 cloves minced garlic Chili powder, ground red pepper, cayenne, cumin, oregano, salt, garlic powder 1. Brown ground beef with 1/4 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp salt, & 1/8 tsp cayenne. Drain grease. Simmer with tomato paste for 3-5 minutes. 2. Add ground beef to crockpot with everything else. Add 2 TBSP chili powder, 1 TBSP cumin, 1 TBSP oregano, 2 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp red pepper, 1/2 tsp cayenne, 1 14.5 oz can water. 3. Cook 8-10 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. 4. Remove dried chili peppers before serving. ONE POT CREAMY CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI, SPINACH RICE (https://www.tiktok.com/@nutritionalsa...) Heat 1 TBSP of olive oil in a large skillet. Once hot add ½ of and diced onion, and 3-4 TBSP minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the onion is tender and translucent. Then add 2 chicken breasts that have been cut into bite size pieces. Season all over with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, crushed red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes to get the chicken browned. The chicken does not need to be fully cooked. It will finish cooking with the rice. Next add 1 ½ cups frozen broccoli, 1 cup white rice, and 2 ½ cups chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. After 20 min the rice should be cooked and most of the liquid absorbed. Add in 1-2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese, ½ cup to 1 cup blended cottage cheese, and 2 cups chopped baby spinach.
