Friday, March 6, 2026 | A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into this evening. The best rain chance today and tonight is initially east of I-65. The heaviest of these could produce isolated rumbles of thunder, but I do not expect any organized severe weather threat much of Saturday is dry, with only a small chance of a few isolated showers or storms in the afternoon. By Saturday evening, however, a broken line of showers and thunderstorms will approach from the northwest. This will sweep across the area Saturday evening into Saturday night. One or two pockets of gusty wind are possible within this line of storms. I do not expect any issues with tornadoes. The front will stall and rain chances will linger through the first half of next week, followed by a change to colder weather over the second half of next week.
