Here are two recipes for you — Prawns Fry and Prawns Gravy — both in clear, easy steps. 🍤 1. PRAWNS FRY (CRISPY & MASALA STYLE) Ingredients Prawns – 300 g, cleaned & deveined Turmeric – ¼ tsp Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Coriander powder – ½ tsp Pepper powder – ¼ tsp Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp Lemon juice – 1 tsp Salt – as needed Rice flour – 1 tsp (for crispiness, optional) Curry leaves – few Oil – for shallow frying Preparation Wash prawns well and pat dry. In a bowl mix: turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and rice flour. Add prawns and coat well. Marinate 15–30 minutes. Frying Heat 2–3 tbsp oil in a pan. Add curry leaves. Place the marinated prawns and fry on medium flame. Cook 2–3 minutes each side until golden and curled. Serve hot with lemon wedges. 🍤 2. PRAWNS GRAVY (RESTAURANT STYLE) Ingredients Prawns – 300 g Onion – 2 medium, finely chopped Tomato – 2 medium, pureed or chopped Green chilli – 1 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp Turmeric – ¼ tsp Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tbsp Garam masala – ½ tsp Coconut milk – ½ cup or thick coconut paste Curry leaves – few Coriander leaves – for garnish Oil – 2 tbsp Salt – as required Method Heat oil; add curry leaves, chopped onions, and green chilli. Sauté until onions turn golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry until raw smell goes. Add tomatoes and cook till soft and oil separates. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Add prawns and mix gently; cook 2 minutes. Pour ½–1 cup water (as gravy thickness you prefer). Cook 5–7 minutes on medium flame until prawns are cooked. Add coconut milk, simmer 1 minute, and switch off. Garnish with coriander leaves.
