Because God doesn’t always remove things to hurt you. Sometimes He removes things to prepare you. ________________________________________ You ever clean out a closet and realize half the stuff in there doesn’t even fit, and you are not wearing it anymore? It served you once… but now it’s just taking up space. That’s what pruning is. Not punishment. Preparation. ________________________________________ SCRIPTURE 📖 John 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit]. Notice something important: God only prunes what’s already growing. ________________________________________ If God is removing things right now… He’s not rejecting you. He’s refining you. He’s cutting away distractions. Old habits. Wrong connections. Outdated identities. Not because you’re failing… but because you’re fruitful. Some of you are grieving things God outgrew for you. Some doors closed because they would’ve limited your next level. Pruning hurts because it feels personal. But it’s actually purposeful. ________________________________________ REALITY CHECK If you feel: • Uncomfortable • Exposed • Stripped down • Like something familiar is ending That’s not destruction. That’s transition. And transition always feels messy before it feels meaningful. ________________________________________ Instead of asking: “Why is this happening to me?” Try asking: “God, what are You making room for?” That one question changes everything. ________________________________________ I release what God is removing. I trust what God is preparing.
