Taking advantage of a slightly cooler day, we headed out to search a new section of high desert forest. After researching the area on google earth I felt we had a pretty good chance of coming across some artifacts of the surface that would indicate prehistoric camps such as debitage as well as possibly finding projectile points since the area would have been (and still is) fertile hunting grounds. This turned out to be a fascinating day, we encountered a variety of points including one very large possible Elko Corner Notch point. We also feel we came across a few camps due to the amount of lithic debris we found in certain spots. The history of this area undoubtedly runs very deep! Thanks For Watching! Like The Video(s)?
