Multiple artifacts on this trip including tools and different style arrowheads/atlatl darts! Driving hours on multiple dirt roads I came to a place that immediately got my attention. Multiple drainages connecting lower elevations to higher desert forests, I figured this would be a great spot. I was not disappointed! It didn't take long to find my first projectile point and from there it just got better! I had a feeling this would have been a good area to ambush animals as they moved back and forth seasonally. Ease of travel. Path of least resistance and all. After finding the points as well as an abundance of debitage, this thought may very well be truth. However, it is all simply my own speculation.
