Description Welcome to another Hiking Required video, episode 1 part 1 in my Peak District National Park series. Following on from my Shropshire Marilyns series, I am now attempting to summit each of the 95 listed Ethel’s in the Peak District. In this video I am joined by my hiking buddies Neil and Jeremy as we ascend Ringing Roger. This is the first part of a longer walk to the Trig Point at Kinder Low, there preferred summit of Kinder Scout for conservation reasons. We start at the Edale Station pay and display car park and make our way up through Edale to cross Grinds Brook at the top of the village. There’s a permitted path which crosses to Heardman’s Plantation that allows access to The Nab and a zigzag path up to the rocks of Ringing Roger.
