Subtlety Rogue - Zekvir Harmode ?? - 601 Ilvl - completed 28th of November 2024 after Nerfs to both Brann and Zekvir. Let me solo him - done 28th of November 2024 - TWW Patch 11.05 00:00 Fight 05:39 Gear 06:05 Stats 06:14 Brann setup 06:22 Talents 06:41 Damage Meter 07:05 Healing Meter 07:21 Ending Priorities in this fight. 1) Survive. If you can live this fight you will eventually kill it. 2) Kill Cocoon's(optimally before it turns to spider). It's better to exert cooldowns to dependably kill the cocoon than it is saving them for spider. 3) Interrupt Zekvir heal. This becomes even more important p2. When it heals for 25% instead of 10% p1. 4) Play around Brann. His potions leave a HoT that stacks. Just like his traps leave a stacking DoT. If Brann dies you can survive as long as you notice potions and prepare them for a HoT. Also, if you glow yellow, you have a damage reduction making you immune to CC, such as Enfeeble Spittle and the ear! 5) Damage on Zekvir. It's a kill even if it takes 20 minutes. Very important, if Zekvir is about to cast Smash or Web, don't go to the add yet. Smash often goes on Brann, who might be wrongly positioned, but Web ALWAYS goes on you. And in p2 you wanna face Zekvir 45-90 degrees away from the cocoon to bait it, so you can do free damage. For making it easier have some macro's: ex #showtooltip /tar Zekvir /cast Kick Best of luck to you all, Subtlety Rogue is pretty good here, having a constant flow of cooldowns. You'll ALWAYS have something ready for the cocoons! It also has to be said. You take more dmg p1 than p2, because he casts more in p2, making melee much easier. And thanks to Versa being a great stat you should be able to live p1. It's quite a bit harder for Assassination fx. Also, I'd like to say, this challenge was made infinitely easier, by me being a gnome. I can remove snare/root effects on a 1 min cd, meaning I never really had it and could save cloak for other things! So yeah, might wanna change! :P Should've been a gnome for the prot warr challenge..! Quick FYI, only Vanish if Brann is "alive". If he's dead and you vanish, boss resets! Sikran and Ky'veza are both pure ST target fights, so they're good to check for setup! In the Rogue Tree: Changed Airborne Irritant for Gouge. You gain an ability AND Blind gets better. If you need them. If you're not a gnome, take Unbreakable Stride instead. Enfeeble Spittle is a BITCH. I changed Tricks of the Trade for Blackjack, shouldn't matter but incase I used Blind it'd be worthwhile. For Hero talents I just stuck with Trickster. It looks and sounds good, so what the hell. And whaddya know, it worked for me! I did change So Tricky for Don't be Suspicious In the Subtlety Tree: I changed nothing, BUT. I was very much considering Goremaw's Bite. That talent would be quite literally insane for dealing with Cocoon, but it wasn't an issue for me, so I stuck with these. But something to consider is that, Goremaw's Bite noy only gives you an insane amount of burst on a 45 second cd, it'll also make Secret Technique come off cd that much faster. 1 second cdr per 1 combo point spent translates to the cd halfed in 4 casts. So if you struggle, take that talent. Where to take it from, Idk, but since all that matters is Cocoon dmg you could fx. take it from Flagellation which wouldn't change anything but remove it from your rotation. It's mainly taken for boss dmg regardless. Stats: I generally just used the stats given as you can see in the video's stat section. A lot of Versa, good mastery, an itty bit of crit and haste! My trinkets are: 1) Darkmoon Deck: Ascension. I fucking love this trinket. 2) Shadow-Binding Ritual Knife. Embellishment: Double Elemental Focusing Lens, cause it's allgedly best for 2/3 rogue specs!
