No sleep. A pale face in the dim room. [Verse 2] Hair thin. Eyes hollow. A mouth without teeth. The body already turning to dust. Still the eyes watch the dark far away. [Chorus] The dress moves slightly. A small trembling. Cold ankles above dusty shoes. Numb fingers. The body waits for the first sound of attack. [Verse 3] I turn away. Teeth tight. Across the wall a man sits rolling a cigarette slowly without hurry. [Verse 4] He feels the warmth leaving his chest. Green stems in his hand. Face restless. A quiet groan from time to time.
