Suppression: drug reduces the cellular activity. e.g. Acetylcholin decreases the heart rates 3. Irritation: some drug produces noxious effect and sometimes enhance the cellular activity. e.g. Bitter drug enhances the GI Secretion. 4. Replacement: in specific endogenous molecules deficiency, we replace with alternative exogenous molecules. e.g. L-dopa a precursor of dopamine synthesis is given in dopamine deficiency Parkinson's disease. 5.
