Today we share a simple guide step by step to make your own Sourdough starter with All Purpose Flour. Just to show that you doesn't need a special flour to start in the world of Sourdough. You will need: All Purpose Flour 120 Gr. Warm Water 120 Ml. (at 85ºF) A Jar with a capacity of 400 Ml. (or more) ----------------- FAQ The 5 days passed and I don't see activity. Why? Sometimes the Sourdough can take a little more time (or less). There are many factors but like everything in the world of Sourdough it's resolved with time. You must feed again and wait one more day or two, if there is no activity on day 6, there will be on day 7. Why there is a liquid layer on the surface? Sometimes our sourdough have excess of water and it accumulates on top with some alcohol generated during fermentation. It's ok. Just stir it in, feed the starter and keep going. After 5 days, whats next? From day 5 our Sourdough must be kept refrigerated and fed every 15 or 20 days if you don't use it.
