#shakrpur #Delhicrime #livechori #CCTV #delhipolice In yet another alarming incident highlighting how fearless thieves have become in the national capital, a shocking burglary was reported from the Shakarpur area of East Delhi. A thief used an electricity pole as a ladder to enter a house and carried out the theft within just ten minutes before fleeing the spot. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, and the footage has now surfaced. According to information, Angel, a resident of Shakarpur, was sleeping at home with her family when the incident took place. At around 2:51 a.m., a युवक (young man) was seen entering the lane. CCTV footage clearly shows him surveying the surroundings before boldly climbing up an electricity pole. Using the pole as support, he reached the balcony of the house and entered inside. His body language suggested he had no fear of being caught. The thief remained inside the house for nearly ten minutes. During this time, he stole three purses and six mobile phones. The purses reportedly contained thousands of rupees in cash along with important documents. Despite the theft taking place while the family was asleep, no one inside the house noticed any movement. At exactly 3:01 a.m., the same man was seen exiting the house and climbing down using the electricity pole before calmly walking away from the scene. When Angel woke up in the morning, she found the house in disarray. Upon checking, she discovered that three purses and six mobile phones were missing. The cash and essential documents kept in the purses had also been stolen. She then checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby, which revealed the entire sequence of events. The footage reportedly shows the suspect’s face partially. The victim has alleged that despite informing the police control room immediately, officers did not reach the spot on time. Later, she was called to the police station where an e-FIR was registered and handed over to her. Police officials, however, stated that a case has been registered and efforts are underway to identify and trace the accused based on the CCTV footage. The incident has created panic among local residents. People in the area say that if thieves can so easily climb into homes using electricity poles, no one’s safety can be guaranteed. Residents have demanded increased police patrolling and stricter vigilance in the locality. This incident in Shakarpur once again raises serious concerns about law and order in Delhi. The fact that a thief could steal valuable belongings within ten minutes and escape without alerting anyone poses significant questions about security arrangements. Now, all eyes are on the police to see how quickly they can arrest the accused and restore confidence among residents.
