Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun Hussain is currently the Head of Department of Psychiatry, Rajshahi Medical College. He was awarded the 'Kagoj Katha Shaitya' in 2004. He was also awarded the 'Banglar Pathshala - Akhtaruzzaman Elias' in 2011 for his novel 'Necropolis'. For all his contribution to the Bengali literature, he's been awarded the 'Bangla Academy Award 2017'. Some of his noted works are ' Rashtra Zantrer' 'Kheladhula', 'Andhajoner Jatakkatha', 'Koyekjon Shamanyo Manush'.
