Hoover Preferred (Elite) U5095-930 Upright Vacuum

This is my Hoover Preferred upright vacuum (from 1995), model U5095-930, that I bought on Ebay. Ever since I got my soft bag 80s style Hoover Elite 350, I've always wanted a 90s, hard bag style Elite, and I ended up getting this. This does come with an on board hose mounted on the side of the machine that connects down into the head of the vacuum, and one thing to love about the higher end Elites, is that this comes with a flexible hose. I have learned that on the front of the bag door, there's a small little circular area to mount in scent tab, but the original fell out over time, and in my opinion isn't worth finding. It features a 7.2 amp motor with direct air design and takes Hoover Type A bags (this example is running the Hepa bags that are available but a big pricey but worth it in the filtration and increased performance). The suction is not the best (especially in tool mode), but the airflow is fantastic, and the agitation is amazing. My only complaints about this machine is that it's quite loud when in use, and can sometimes be very vulnerable when using since it's entirely made out of plastic. Overall, I absolutely love this vacuum and is certainly better than anything Hoover makes today.
