In this second video about Perception verbs, we are going to learn ADJECTIVES or NOUNS followed by PERCEPTION VERBS. In particular, we’ll cover the expressions “-見える(MIERU)”, which is translated as “it seems like” or “it looks like” and “-聞こえる(KIKOERU)”, which means “it sounds”. Syntactically, kikoeru and mieru both work the same way as NARU(なる) and NARIMASU (なります): they take the complement as an adverb. Also, I(い)-Adjectives change to -KU (く) and NA(な)-Adjectives and NOUNs change to -NI(に). Let’s see this in detail and with examples so you can understand it easily! Thank you so much in advance! ♥️ You will find a quiz at the end of this video. The script or the answers is in the very bottom of this explanation place, just in case you need it. But I hope you can do it without seeing it.
