Her research focus is prevention, remission, and self-management support in diabetes. Her research is funded by the CIHR, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Lawson Foundation, and Diabetes Canada. She has published over 160 papers and her research has received a high level of media coverage because of its direct relevance to patients, practitioners, and policy makers. She is co-author of Diabetes Canada clinical practice guidelines on remission, physical activity, and type 2 diabetes pharmacotherapy. Version Français: Kaberi Dasgupta est médecin, scientifique et professeure de médecine à l'Université McGill et au Centre Universitaire de Santé McGill et directrice de la médecine interne générale de McGill. Ses recherches portent sur la prévention, la rémission et le soutien à l'autogestion du diabète. Ses projets de recherche sont financés par l'IRSC, la Fondation des maladies du coeur et de l'AVC du Canada, la Fondation Lawson et Diabète Canada. Elle a publié plus de 160 articles et ses recherches ont reçu une grande couverture médiatique en raison de leur pertinence directe pour les patients, le personnel de santé et les législateurs.
