The Reason I Started The Core Golf Academy

I created this video because Core Golf Academy was born out of a real turning point in my coaching career. Two of my students left to attend a major junior residential golf academy, and when they returned, they hadn’t improved—in fact, they were worse players than when they left. They didn’t receive the level of coaching, individual attention, or long-term development they were promised. Seeing talented, motivated players lose confidence and direction made it clear that the system wasn’t serving them. Core Golf Academy was created to be the opposite of that experience: a place where players are coached with purpose, individuality, and accountability, and where development always comes before branding, volume, or hype. After selling Core Golf Academy following ten years of operation, I chose to reintroduce myself and my personal academy under the same guiding principles on which Core Golf Academy was founded: working with players who are committed to learning and improving, and supporting them in the same way I would have wanted when I was learning the game.
