Remember to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay rooted in the Word! Date of Service: Monday, 24th February 2026 Minister: Mary Wanja Kariuki Theme: God Has a Plan – Trusting His Good Intentions Main Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 MAIN SCRIPTURE (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11 SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES Use these verses for personal meditation and reflection: Habakkuk 2:3 – God’s promises may delay, but they will surely come to pass at the appointed time. Psalm 37:5 – Encourages believers to commit their ways fully to the Lord and trust Him. Romans 8:28 – Reminds us that God works all things together for good for those who love Him. SHORT DESCRIPTION Many believers struggle with anxiety and disappointment when life does not follow their plans. This devotion reminds us that God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11 was spoken during exile, proving that difficulty can still be part of God’s good plan. The solution is learning to trust God’s blueprint, even when the process is uncomfortable. 1. God Knows the Full Plan God does not say you know the plan—He says I know the plans. Just like an architect works from a complete blueprint, God sees the finished picture of your life even when you only see confusion and mess. Analogy: God as an architect who sees the complete house before the first brick is laid. 2. God’s Plan Is Good, Even When the Process Is Painful Exile, suffering, silence, and delay do not mean abandonment. God may remove what we think we need to prepare us for what we truly need—this applies to everyday life decisions, careers, ministry, and family. SHIFTING YOUR PRAYER LANGUAGE Fear: Instead of “Lord, I don’t understand what’s happening,” say “Lord, I trust Your plan even when I don’t understand.” Delay: Instead of “God, why is this taking so long?” say “God, I trust Your perfect timing.” QUOTE OF THE DAY “God’s plans are always shaped by love.” PRAYER POINTS Trust: Pray for the grace to trust God’s plan in difficult seasons. Patience: Ask God to strengthen your faith as you wait for His timing. DECLARATION Repeat this aloud: I declare that God has good plans for my life. Even in difficulty, delay, and uncertainty, I choose to trust His blueprint. I will not worry, for my hope and future are secure in Christ. God is working behind the scenes for my good.
