And the story doesn’t stop in the past. I got the chance to ride behind Nickel Plate Road 765—a living, breathing example of Superpower Steam in action. From its wartime origins to its modern-day revival by a team of dedicated volunteers, this machine still roars down the rails, inspiring a new generation of steam lovers.
