here is my restored Hoge 900 streamliner. Made from q934 to 1939, parts are hard to come by. I got the engine without a motor. I came across a motor that needed a new pinion gear. I got lucky and found one the right size with the correct number if teeth. I bought 2 cars with severly flaking plating. it could not be saved and the cars were rusting. I painted it to protect the steel it was stamped with. New blue paint, a little lighter than the original. made a new headlight. the vestibule and the end of the tail car were originally blue on the pieces I bought. I kept them that way when I repainted the train. Cool toy set. Runs forward only. Originally $3.50 back in the 1930's. Someone's once cherished toy is back on the rails. Enjoy.
