Hip hinge is such an important and powerful movement. It is important to do hip exercises to help with lifting, bending motions and to keep body mobility. It is even more important however, when doing hip hinge exercises to have the proper technique to prevent back injuries. As a dancer and dance teacher, the back has always been of great concern of mine. Doing proper hip hinge, and strengthening the hamstring and glutes has kept my back in good health and I have Belly Dancing to thank for offering me a low impact and safe exercising drills.
