In this video, we visited a local market in Armenia and had the opportunity to closely examine the cultural riches there. The market was like a cultural treasure with traditional products sold on its colorful stalls. We had the chance to see and get to know many different products, from handmade textile products to local spices, from fresh dried fruits to traditional kitchen utensils. During our market shopping, we coincidentally met local people who spoke Turkish. We were both surprised and happy that these people spoke Turkish even though they were natives of Armenia. We had the opportunity to chat with them and had an in-depth conversation about our cultural ties from past to present. This encounter showed us once again that the cultural ties and common history between peoples can create an impact beyond geographical borders. The friendly atmosphere of the market place, the beauty of traditional products and the hospitality of the people we met were one of the most special moments of this trip.
