As our team grows stronger — especially with Baxcalibur’s Ice-type power — so does the difficulty. The back half of the randomized gym leaders appear in the following order: — Wattson — Norman — Brawly — Flannery The eighth and final gym proves to be one of the toughest challenges of the entire run. Taking on Flannery’s Fire-type team with half of our squad made up of Ice-types puts us at a massive strategic disadvantage — turning this into a true test of roguelike adaptation. By the end of the episode, the road to the Elite Four is finally open, but the cost of victory is clear. With our team battered and missing important members, the next step will be rebuilding, regrouping, and preparing for the ultimate test ahead.
