The Story of The One million Stars Ireland 2020 (Long)

This video tells the story of the Amber One Million Stars. It follows the years journey of 2019 -2020. A collaboration between Amber Women's Refuge, One Million Stars to End Violence and Arts Reach Ireland. Launched in December 2019, our community arts project has connected a wide cross section of the community. Hand woven stars representing love light and solidarity against violence were lovingly made throughout the lockdowns of the Covid 19 pandemic. Displayed in public areas and museums, our stars raise domestic violence awareness and symbolise hope for a better future without violence. This video was made by Mill Studios Kilkenny and funded by Creative Ireland and Kilkenny County Council.
