And this is what we got for our actual last attempt. Our first goal to beat was 9 minutes. Once we beat that we knew we could improve, so we tried for 8 mins 30 seconds. Once we hit 8:23, we began resetting runs that didn't work out well until we got an 8:07. Then we wondered if we could get sub-8. After several resets, the night grew darker and we had one last run in us. The 1st stage wasn't too spectacular... the drop pod flipped and we missed the drill clip... but we ran with it. Stage 2 was so close to tying our best time, and we came out of it on the same pace as our 8:07. Stage 3 was where all the time save could be: from mishaps with dreadnought compliance, how many times each of us die during the black box, how many times one or a couple of us left the black box making it slower to complete... things just fell into place as we beat our best time here by 27 seconds!! #deeprock #deeprockgalactic #drg #Ryeor
