The newest lift at Tremblant is this Doppelmayr detachable quad built in 2018. It replaced a triple chair that stuck out like a sore thumb as the only fixed grip lift on the main part of the mountain. The Intrawest master plan called for the triple to be replaced with a fixed grip quad, but Alterra wisely decided to go with a detachable. With the replacement, every part of the mountain except Edge and some real estate access trails is served exclusively by detachable lifts. The ride time is under 4 minutes, allowing one to rack up many runs quickly. There is also a more suitable alternative to the Duncan Express via two shorter detachable lifts, so wait times there have been reduced. The length is 3282 feet and the vertical is 861 feet, making it the shortest detachable quad at Tremblant. The design capacity is 2400/hr at a speed of 1000 fpm, but it's only going about 900 here.
