Everett Railroad 11: Cabin Fever Steam Train Limited 2024 (4K)

For my first time out trackside in 2024, I decided to the Everett Railroads Opening day for Passenger trains on March 16th. It was a late Winters Day, that was mostly sunny. The Railroad, would operate 11, an ALCO Built 2-6-0 Mogul Steam Locomotive on two excursions over the former Pennsylvania Railroad. The 11 AM Trip, was the Cabin Fever Excursion, from Hollidaysburg to Brooke Mills & return. The 1:30 Trip, was the Steam In The Cove Event, from Hollidaysburg to Morrison's Cove & Return. This trip, the 11 would Wye, and lead both ways. Having not been to the line since the HTP Charter in 2021, & with nothing else going on this winter I felt this would be the perfect way to kick off the year with new Content. With our shots combined, we made out great and it was a fun weekend! I also saw, ‪@TrainChamber‬ ‪@KeystoneRailProductions‬ ‪@tristanrailproductions‬ ‪@TheBigBananaRailfan‬ & ‪@SteelandSteamProductions‬. The Everett 11 is a 2-6-0 Mogul type, Steam Locomotive that was originally built to Burn Oil and shipped to Cuba. It never would go to Cuba, and ended up being converted to Coal and running on various railroads including the Bath & Hammondsport Railroad. It was returned to operation by the Everett Railroad in 2015. It was converted to Burn Oil in 2022. It has operated on various excursions on the line since 2015. Between now and the Canadian Pacific #2816 Golden Spike tour, this will probably be the only Steam Locomotive till then. But there maybe a video between now and then, as always stay tuned!
