Congratulations on buying or selling your domain with Sedo, in order to ensure that your domain transfer goes as quickly and smoothly as possible, you first need to locate the Transfer Centre in your Sedo account. In todays video I will show you how to find the Transfer Centre, Navigate it and ill show you where you can contact your Transfer agent directly with any questions you have. The Transfer Centre is essentially an overview page for your domain transfers, where you will receive updates on how the transfer is progressing and instructions on what to do next. So lets first locate the Transfer Centre: Login to your Sedo account, go to My Sedo and select Transfer Centre from the drop down menu. Clicking on the domain name in the Transfer Centre will bring you to the “Transfer Overview” page, under transfer history you will receive status updates and instructions on what to do next and under related communications you can see any messages to and from your dedicated transfer agent. You then have 3 blue tabs, transfer status is the current overview page as default, if you select the transfer documents tab then this is where you will see and can download any documents related to the transfer such as the Purchase and Sales Agreement, if you are the buyer you will see the payment request or any invoices if provided by the seller. You can also upload any documents that you believe are important to the transfer centre by clicking the green button. Finally the last tab is the Transfer Details tab where you can edit and confirm billing details, edit and confirm technical transfer details including confirmation of the registrar you use or information about a technical assistant that will handle the transfer for you. Here you can also view VAT details and the negotiation history. To send a message to your dedicated transfer agent go back to the Transfer Status Tab, Scroll to the bottom and enter your message here, please note this is not a live chat.
