Hi... simple recipe for making chicken "D" shape samosas: Ingredients: For the dough: 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons oil 1/2 teaspoon salt Water, as needed For the filling: 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken 1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon ginger, minced 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional) 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste 2 tablespoons oil For frying: Oil for deep frying Instructions: Prepare the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons of oil. Gradually add water and knead until you form a smooth and pliable dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. Prepare the filling: Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Add minced garlic, ginger, and green chili (if using). Sauté for another minute. Add shredded chicken, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is heated through and the spices are well combined. Remove from heat and let it cool down. Shape the samosas: Divide the rested dough into small lemon-sized balls. Roll out each ball into a thin oval-shaped disc. Cut the oval disc in half to form two semi-circles. Take one semi-circle and fold it into a cone shape, sealing the edges with a little water. Fill the cone with the prepared chicken filling and seal the open edge using a little water to form a "D" shape. Press the edges gently to seal properly. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling. Fry the samosas: Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, gently slide the prepared samosas into the oil. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides, turning occasionally. Remove the fried samosas using a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce. @deliciousdishes305
