This duo tinged milkshake is a great way of adding not just colour but incorporating seasonal strawberries too. STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE Ingredients 1 cup chopped strawberries 1 cup chopped milk chocolate 1½ cups fresh cream ½ cup castor sugar 2 cups vanilla ice cream ¼ cup milk ½ cup fresh cream Strawberry slices for garnish Method 1. To make ganache, heat fresh cream in a non-stick pan, add milk chocolate and mix, cook on low heat till the chocolate melts. 2. Take the pan off the heat and transfer the chocolate ganache into a bowl and allow to cool to room temperature. 3. To make the strawberry compote, heat a non-stick pan, add strawberries, castor sugar and ¼ cup water and mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes. 4. Take the pan off the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly. 5. Put the strawberry compote into a blender jar, add ice cream, milk, and fresh cream and blend to a fine mixture. 6. To serve, pour a portion of the chocolate ganache into serving glasses, pour the milkshake on it. 7. Garnish with strawberry slices and serve immediately.
