In this Shakedown, the new and improved NPC Driver Cards are in action, showing off how each can be used to provide multiple levels of challenge. The previous versions of the driver cards were nice, but using some inspiration from the Unlimited Dashboards of the Climb expansion, I've reworked them into NPCs that get harder the more of their driver card you see, with traits geared towards summing up a driver's style. Do they work? I sure hope so, because there are 80 of them ready to be printed for use at your table, covering both rallying and rallycross, and there are templates available to make anyone you can think of, be they off-roaders or circuit racers - more info below. 0:00 Intro 0:59 Driver Cards Explanation/Rules 4:00 Race 29:13 Results SHAKEDOWN is a showcase of Rallyman and the community that makes it what it is. From variant rules to recreated race tracks, from serious strategy to silly situations to find yourself in, I want to highlight anything and everything that makes this game shine, much of it community created content. There are many more things to show off in future Shakedowns, but what would you like to see the most? What aspect of Rallyman hasn't been explored enough? Which circuits are hidden gems? What rules do you insist others try out for themselves? Let me know, and be sure to spread the word about whatever great Rallyman content you find on your travels. The Driver Cards and DrWorm's Non-Player Cars rules to make use of them are available to download from the Rallyman: Dirt files section on BoardGameGeek (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/3.... Templates and higher resolution Driver Cards can be found at http://is.gd/rmnpc, though be sure to read the guide on how to use it for the best results, and if you've got any, do suggest ways to improve it. There's no point in me being the Driver Card gatekeeper, especially if you know more about a particular sport or set of drivers than I do - and of course, these cards can even be used to recreate you and I as NPCs, so how would I alone go about doing that, eh? Anyway, if you want to chuck cars through this Switzerland course, you'll need the following tiles: 202a (Reversed), 223a(R), 216b(L), 218a(R), 226a(R), 227b(L), 232b(L), 231a, 206b, 229a(R), 228b(L), 224a(L), 222a(R), 213a(L), 225a(R), 215a(RL), 230b(L), 203a (Reversed) Can you beat my time? I bet you can. Can you beat Markku Alén's time though?
