#rail200 #isleofmanrailway ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DISCLAIMER: The following video contains some scenes filmed at track level or from the lineside (and also in the railway workshops) under staff supervision and/or from positions of safety, as part of a series of pre-organised events. Please do not trespass on the railways. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The first in a six part series of videos, recorded during the 2025 Manx Transport Festival. The Isle of Man Steam Railway was taking something of a backseat in influence to the 2025 festival programme, but still hosted a few events in connection with the week-long celebration. The stalwart Beyer Peacock tanks (with MNR Dubs No.15 Caledonia) were kept busy on a variety of duties; from an IOM 50 Group Charter with Maitland, to the revealing of No.9 Douglas after cosmetic restoration, and the usual pie & mash trains & workshop tours at Douglas, there was plenty of action to be had. This video shows what went on, during those few days. Usual locations include Douglas, Port Soderick, Santon, Ballasalla, Ronaldsway, Castletown, Ballabeg, Colby, Port St Mary and Port Erin, plus the unofficial stop at Ballawoods Halt. In dedication to Mike Buttell (1956 - 2024) and Graham Warhurst (1941 - 2025).
