Buoyancy Cuffs are unique as aquatic equipment because they provide a three-in-one exercise gym for the water. They can be used as buoyancy around the ankles, on the wrists, and, joined together they form an easily adjusted buoyancy belt primarily for off the bottom training. Cuffs are generally recommended for the advanced exerciser as, although they are relatively simple and safe to use, they do require some instruction before allowing a participant to jump into the pool. It is important to understand what they can and cannot do – a certain amount of skill and confidence is required for cuff management. Cuff programs are designed to effectively perform a major exercise with some of the exercises offering multi-muscle uses. A unique feature is the zippered, three pocket design on each cuff. Each pocket contains piece of buoyant foam. If client wants less buoyancy -it is simple to open and cut the foam in half.
