All audio examples are from the same take, performed on a Schimmel Grand Piano Konzert 219T, without any EQ, compression or reverb. Best heard on headphones or studio quality monitors if possible! All mics recorded through a Neve Genesys Black (1073) console at 24bit / 96khz (peak around -2.5/-3db) - Thanks to David Daniels for the play-through. We focused on the tenor/lower-midrange to really put the mic's through their paces, as this is often an area lacking in detail/muddiness in some pianos - so hopefully you can hear the transient detail amongst the parts!
