In the Sierra Norte de Puebla, Mexico, indigenous communities keep a special tradition alive. Young beekeepers Isabel and Omar's groups are part of Tosepan, one of the largest family agricultural co-operatives in Mexico. The Proecosocial project funded by IFAD and the Government of Mexico has helped the local community make money out of special meliponic bees.
