This 20 minute yoga for anxiety relief is a gentle yoga flow designed to calm the mind, release physical tension, and regulate the nervous system through breath, movement, and body awareness. If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck in racing thoughts, this beginner-friendly yoga practice will guide you through grounding stretches, mindful breathing, and slow transitions to help bring your body back into a state of calm. We begin the practice with a brief seated meditation and body awareness exercise to slow the mind and invite you to notice where anxiety may be showing up in the body. Throughout the class, we gently move the body to release tension and support nervous system regulation, and at the end of the practice we return to that space in the body to check in and notice what may have shifted. In this class we move through poses such as: • Seated Meditation & Breath Awareness • Seated Side Stretch • Cat Cow • Thread the Needle • Downward Dog • Slow Sun Salutation Flow • Low Lunge • Wide Leg Forward Fold • Pigeon Pose / Figure Four Stretch • Supine Twist • Knees to Chest • Savasana Relaxation This calming yoga flow uses gentle movement, breath awareness, and body scanning techniques to help release stress and bring the nervous system out of fight-or-flight and back into a more relaxed, grounded state.
