This is a Tutorial of how to create Madam Rosemerta’s Oak Matured Mead; two ways as a real drinkable mead bottle or a Prop! This will be a great prop for your collection; or a fun accessory for a party or a themed movie night! You will need: 1 Glass Bottle with a bail and trigger or a cork Rubbing Alcohol (for Prop) Gold and Taupe Metallic Acrylic Paint (for Prop) Black Hot Glue for embellishment Hot Glue Gun Potion labels printed on sticker paper (or regular paper and glue) Recipe for Drinkable Version: 1 liter of Boiling Water 340 g of Honey ½ tsp ground Nutmeg ½ tsp ground Cinnamon ½ tsp ground Ginger 1 Lemon 1 Orange Re-usable coffee filter (or regular coffee filter) to Strain 1. Bring the water to a boil in a non-metallic container 2. Add the honey and spices to the boiling water; stir until the honey is dissolved 3. Slice the orange and lemon in half 4. Add the Lemon and Orange slices, squeezing the juice into the mead as they are placed in the mixture 5. Cool completely 6.
