From Charlie: I had a follow up question for you regarding one of your last coffee and coaches calls discussing lumbar flexion and squatting. More specifically, i'm curious if you suspect that Powerlifters find benefit in the reverse hyperextension exercise because it attempts to create some of the mechanisms you've described from being able to deep squat (i.e.-sacral counternutation, posterior expansion, stimulating blood flow from the bone above and below to aid in more favorable cellular adaptations to the disc)? #reversehyper #powerlifting #BillHartmanPT
