Journeying Through 2026: Equipped for the Road Ahead Part I - Look Up Through Prayer! -Sun, 01/10/26

We are already in the 2nd week of 2026, the 10th day of the year. As we step into this year God is calling us not to rush into the year but to move slowly and Look Up as we move... Many of us may feel the pressure to move quickly. New calendars, new goals, new resolutions. We feel the urge to plan, to fix, to decide, and to get ahead. But Scripture gently interrupts that rush and reminds us that progress without prayer is motion without direction. God is not asking us to speed up. He is asking us to move with Him. He is asking us to look up to Him through prayer as we move! Proverbs 3:5–6 says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Many of us try to "fit" God into our busy life schedules. God doesn't want to be "fit" into our lives. He wants to in charge of our lives. That means making God the boss of your life and allowing Him to direct your paths through your prayer connection. It is another way of say, Lord, I don't know what lies ahead of me but You do and I trust You to lead me through.
