Journeying Through 2026: Equipped for the Road Ahead, Part II-Moving With The Word- Sunday, 1/18/26

Today, we continue with part II of our message, Journeying Through 2026: Equipped for the Road Ahead. Moving slowly through this year with the prayer is powerful and will lift our eyes but the scripture is what will steady us through this year's journey. Without the Word, our prayer can drift into emotion. Without the Word, our faith can become weak and fragile. In Psalm 119:105 the Psalmist said, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Through His Word, God promises enough light for the next faithful step, even if we don't see the whole picture. His Word gives us clarity when life gets uncertain. Jesus said in John 15:5, we can do nothing unless we stay connected to Him, the true vine. As we continue to feed and nurture our souls with His Word, we receive strength and grace to face the uncertainties, the storms and the turbulence that come our way. As we journey through 2026, let's bundle the two - prayer and His Word and we will continue to experience the peace He promised that surpasses all human understanding.
