Recipes and More from Graceland (4) Cups of Beef or Chicken Stock (or Combination) For Vegetarian use Vegetable Broth (2) 15-ounce cans tomatoes, crushed with juice (1) Onion finely chopped 1/2 cup of any or all the following vegetables okra, corn, green beans, sliced, celery, chopped, peas, Turnip finely diced Macaroni or alphabets, salt, white pepper, and tabasco sauce to taste. place stock, tomatoes, onions, and meat, if using, into a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. add vegetables and macaroni. Simmer 15 minutes more. Makes 6 to 8 Cups. Note: Add your spices that you like to this. Adjust to family size. This is a wonderful soup You can make this Vegetarian, or with meat or elbow macaroni. This is perfect for a Cold Night. Once you make this, you will know how you will like this for next time.
