A few days before Fat Thursday, we rush to you with a recipe that was created by special request. For our vegan and gluten-free cheese tires, instead of white cheese, as you can easily guess, we give natural tofu. And guess what? Either there is no difference at all, or they are simply so delicious that no one wonders what the prototype tasted like. In the recipe, in addition to gluten-free dough and tofu, frying is equally important, and here a vegetable fritter without palm fat does an excellent job. Of course, you can prepare them in a baked version, but we strongly recommend that you traditionally fry them. However, it is worth taking care of the right mixture of vegetable frying fats. Preparation time: 40 minutes Quantity: 16-20 pieces Ingredients: 200 g natural tofu 3/4 cup corn flour 1/2 cup buckwheat flour 1/2 cup of potato flour 1/2 cup cane powdered sugar 1/2 cup coconut milk 50 ml of lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoons defatted ground flaxseed 1 teaspoon soda 1 pinch of salt Maestro Gold vegan stir-fry Cane powdered sugar for sprinkling Preparation: Blend tofu with a blender to a smooth paste and mix with lemon juice. Blend, add coconut milk and blend again. Divert 1/4 cup of corn flour into a separate bowl, and mix the rest of the dry ingredients together. Add the tofu cream to the mixed dry ingredients, stir, wait a moment for the flaxseed to absorb the moisture. In a non-stick pan, heat the fritter. Add the rest of the corn flour to the dough and knead it. With hands greased in oil, we tear off a piece of dough at a time. We form a disc, place it on a silicone mat and with a finger dipped in oil, make a hole in the center. This activity is repeated until we run out of dough. Drop the puffs into a medium-hot fryer in small batches and fry them on both sides until golden brown. The fritter must not be too hot, as the tires will burn on the outside and remain raw on the inside. If the temperature of the fritter is too low, the tires will soak up the fat. They taste best immediately after making, sprinkled with powdered sugar. If you make them the day before, it is best to heat them for a while in the oven before serving. Smacznego i na zdrowie!
